l-Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) is a non-profit organization registered in 2016 under the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade as a partnership between the Munib R. Masri Development Foundation and Al-Quds University.

QASR seeks to promote and support innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers with all possible financial resources that can help them create new innovations, spin-offs and startups. Not only this, but QASR seeks to create the proper access to infrastructure, tools and knowledge to foster innovation and applied scientific research.

In addition, the academy also aims to build both scientific and technological capabilities through facilitating technology and knowledge transfer while building research and innovation networks between researchers in the region.

Supporting excellence in scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship

The vision of the Al-Quds Academy for Scientific Research focuses on supporting applied scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship through direct financial and technical support to help the creation of new academic societies in Palestine, Jordan and the Arab region capable of developing innovations and applications that are superior in terms of content and social impact in order achieve the desired economic growth in our countries.

The growing population, environmental and energy challenges, natural resources scarcity, as well as the widening gap between the poor and the rich, have led to the increasing challenges facing our societies. This requires the development of new tools, technologies, innovations and initiatives that contribute to solving these challenges.
